Sous the cat helping you organize your recipes
Share a private link so friends can cook from the same collection. Links are not public. Anyone with the link can open it. People who open it in the app and sign in join your library. A shared collection is the recipes this group actually cooks from — a household weeknight pile, not a copy of everyone’s whole library. Sharing uses the same private-link model as shopping lists.

Create a collection, or open Share on one you own

In Bookmarks, tap Collections. Create a folder or open one you own. See Organize & Search if you haven’t created one yet.After you add recipes to a new collection, Souschef offers Invite Friends on the spot.

Choose Allow editing on or off

Allow editing on: people who join in the app become Collaborators. Allow editing off: they join as Viewers.

Copy or send the private link

Send the link however you usually share — Messages, email, or another app.
The link is unlisted — it isn’t a public page. Web pages for shared collections are not meant to show up in search results.

Open the link in a browser. You can browse recipes. You cannot edit the collection or add it to Bookmarks from the web.
The web is for peeking. Joining and adding recipes happens in the iOS or Android app.
If a link is off, expired, or unknown, you’ll see: This link is no longer available. Ask the owner to send a new private link. See Share link unavailable.

Who can do what

  • You (owner) — share, change the link type, remove people, turn sharing off, rename, and delete the collection.
  • Collaborator — add or remove their recipes. They cannot rename, delete, or manage people.
  • Viewer — look only. They can leave.
  • Web (no account) — browse recipes. No editing.
To add a recipe, it must already be saved or created in that person’s library. You can’t drop in a random URL from the collection screen.

Use a shared collection in the app

Shared collections show Shared by [name] and a Shared badge.

Members can open every recipe in the collection — cook, pin, and more — even if they never saved it themselves. When you save a recipe, shared collections you can edit appear under Shared collection. Owners manage people from Share. Members leave from the collection, and can rejoin later with the same still-active link. Deleting a collection does not delete the recipes. Owner delete is permanent for the folder. Members just lose access.

Turn sharing off

The owner can turn off sharing / collaboration at any time.
The collection is private again. The link stops working. Everyone else loses access.
  • New link — the old link dies. People who already joined keep access.
  • Remove someone — they lose access until they use a working link again.
