# All the recipe sources you can import into Souschef

> Souschef can import recipes from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, recipe websites, photos, and pasted text. Here's a full overview.

Recipe imports are available on the free plan (up to 3 per week). Souschef Plus removes the weekly limit.

Souschef can pull recipes from almost anywhere you find food inspiration — whether you're scrolling through social media, watching a cooking video, browsing a recipe blog, flipping through a printed cookbook, or copy-pasting a family favorite from a text message. In most cases, it's just a tap or two away. Here's every source Souschef currently supports, with links to detailed guides for each one.

## AI Discovery: search across sources at once

Don't have a specific link? Use [AI Discovery](/using/ai-discovery) to describe what you're craving and Souschef will search across recipe websites, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube in one go — then let you import any result directly into your collection.

## How importing works

Most sources work through your phone's **share sheet** — the menu that appears when you tap the Share button inside any app. Tap Share, find the Souschef icon, and the import kicks off automatically. If you don't see Souschef in your share sheet, check out [how to add Souschef to your share menu](/getting-started/add-to-share-menu).

For sources without a share sheet flow — or when you just have text — use the **+** button inside Souschef to paste a URL, paste recipe text, take a screenshot and scan them, or create a recipe manually.

## Free plan import limit

Free users can import up to **3 recipes per week**. Every recipe you import is yours to keep — recipes don't expire, and reaching the weekly limit only affects new imports. You can keep viewing, organizing, editing, searching, and cooking from everything already in your library.
