Importing from TikTok is included in the free version of Souschef.

Got a TikTok recipe you've been meaning to try? With Souschef, you can save it and have a neatly organized recipe ready to cook — no more digging through your TikTok saved videos or re-watching a video just to remember the ingredients. Souschef extracts recipe information from the post's caption and, when available, the video's spoken audio. There are two ways to do it, so pick whichever works best for you!

<Note>
  Souschef works best when the recipe is included in the post caption or spoken aloud in the video. If a post only shows the finished dish without explaining the recipe, Souschef may not have enough information to create a complete recipe.
</Note>

## Troubleshooting

If the import came back empty or the recipe details look off, there are a few common reasons why that can happen. Check out [Why a recipe import might fail](/importing/why-import-fails) for tips on what to do next.
