# How to permanently delete your Souschef account and data

> You can delete your Souschef account and all associated data at any time — directly from the app or by emailing our privacy team.

You can delete your Souschef account at any time. When you do, your personal information and all saved recipes are permanently removed from our servers. There are two ways to go about it — straight from the app, or by sending us an email.

## How to delete your account

**Option 1: Delete from within the app**

The quickest way is to delete your account directly in Souschef:

1. Open Souschef and go to **Settings** or **Account**. {/* TODO: confirm exact menu path in the app */}
2. Find and tap **Delete Account**.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your decision.

**Option 2: Email us**

Prefer to handle it by email? Send a request to [support@nekonote.co](mailto:support@nekonote.co). Include your name and the email address associated with your Souschef account, and we'll take care of the deletion for you.

  Deleting your account is **permanent**. All your saved recipes and personal data will be removed from our servers and cannot be recovered. Make sure you've saved anything you'd like to keep before proceeding.
